Information for teachers about taking a school or college group abroad
The most important reason to study abroad
At Trinity School and after 25 years of experience, we strongly believe that the best way to learn a language is in the country where it's spoken. When a teacher takes a school or college group abroad it allows his/her students to immediately practise what they have learned in the classroom, but most importantly they actually speak Spanish to a Spanish person who is not a teacher and this helps them to reinforce what they have been learning, most importantly, to place the language in the right cultural context.
The programmes we offer
Our programmes are closed group programmes , 7 nights in either half or full-board in either host family or hotel accommodation in shared rooms, with a full programme of activities & excursions, return airport transfers, and a free place for teachers or the group leaders for every 12-15 students.
Programme throughout the year
Trinity school is open throughout the year and a school or college group can start a course on any day of the week, as we understand that it is not always easy to find cheap flights at weekends.
Our Guarantee
Trinity School is an Instituto Cervantes recognised private language school specialising in teaching the Spanish languages to non-native speakers. The schools receives school and college groups of all ages from all over the world all year round. All teachers are native speakers and are qualified to university degree (or similar) level.
The language course
Our special programmes for school or college groups are always tailor-made around the needs of a particular group. A programme consists of 15 hours of Spanish language lessons, 5 days per week. We are always open to other suggestion from the teachers or group leaders and there always exists the possibility of more or less lessons. All our class lessons are 60 minutes.
The accommodation
Trinity School offers either host family or hotel accommodation. The host family options are half board or full board. The choice of host family accommodation for a group offers full immersion for the students. Students are placed in shared double rooms, unless a student specifically requests an individual room, which are available at an extra cost.
All our host families are carefully selected by our schools and inspected regularly by the school and also during the Instituto Cervantes inspections. Many of them have been working with our schools for many years and take special care when students have any special requests in their diet. The families are selected according to their ability to provide students with a comfortable and friendly home away from home environment, and their willingness to involve students in an everyday family Spanish lifestyle.
