Host family: (shared double rooms/full board) with 3 meals daily. Half board is also an option with 2 meals daily, breakfast and either lunch or dinner. Singles rooms are available at extra cost. Contact the school for prices and conditions
The family provides 3 meals daily, breakfast, lunch and dinner. On the days that there are excursions programmed the host family will provide the student with a packed lunch that is usually eaten with the other students and teachers at the school or on the excursion.
The families are normally located between 05-15 minutes walking distance from the school and town centre.
Normally our students must be home at 23.00, if there are no evening activities with school staff.
Individual students will share rooms with another student of the same sex studying on the teenage programme.
All students will be accompanied to the school on the first day by a member of the host family and students should follow this route on consecutive days to avoid getting lost. As our host families are close to the school students find it quite easy to find their way after the first day.

On the day of arrival when the student is coect in the airport, the student is provided with detailed written directions to the school and a map of the city where his/her host house is clearly marked, also the street where the school is located. Students will also have an emergency number where they can call outside of normal school hours. When there are two students staying with one host family, they should travel to/from school and the activities together.
When the classes and the scheduled activities are over for the day, students return to the host family together for dinner and then return to the school for any late evening night activities that may be scheduled (2-3 nights per week) or relax with their host family for the evening.
Learning is easier in a comfortable environment and there so it is vital that our students fee safe and relaxed in their "new home" .
Probably the best and most effective way to become fully immersed into the Spanish language and culture is choosing to live with a host family.

All families are chosen after a careful selection procedure which involves a person courtesy visit by a member of our staff to the house to interview the host family and a continual control by the school to ensure that high living standards are maintained. We also require that they live within a reasonable distance of the school, have ample living space and live in a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
Our host families allow students access to all living areas in the house and in most cases; students will be expected to share the bathroom. All bed linens and pillows will be provided, however we suggest you bring your own towels. A laundry service is provided.
It is important to point out that your host family will have different customs and eating habits to those you are accustomed to and meals will be prepared according to local customs and traditions. Also eating time many vary from the times in your country of origin.
Your host family will always do their best to engage you in daily conversation while making you feel as though you are in a "home away from home". The family provides 3 meals daily. On the days the students have an excursion or activity and are not able to return to the host family at lunch time, they will receive a packed lunch from the host mother before going to class in the morning.
Staying in a family is a rewarding and fulfilling experience and most of the students make life long friends with their host family. However, both the students and parents should also have realistic expectations. Host families are Spanish and live the Spanish way of life which may not have the same comforts and eating habits that your son or daughter is used to and all students will be expected to obey house rules at all times. Failure to respect your host family and their house can lead you a student being changed house and continuous disregard for their host family and school rules will lead to expulsion from the course.

When enrolling on a program, we also ask if you have any special requests such as special diet, allergies, etc which we need to communicate to the host family. After classes and scheduled activities are over for the day, the students are expected at the host family for dinner and are only permitted to leave in the evening and on weekends with prior signed parental consent.
